In 1981, the Bryants, a couple of Rochester teachers asked themselves, “What can we do to earn some extra cash over the summer?” Their answer: serving fruit salad at the Corn Hill Arts Festival. From its humble beginning, Fruit & Salad Co. expanded to Midtown Plaza, Marketplace Mall, The Rochester Museum and Science Center and Eastview Mall. It has been a local stalwart of high-quality and healthy food in Rochester, NY For Over 35 years. Those previous locations are now gone but the knowledge and experience gained from listening to loyal customers over those many years has resulted in an operation that far exceeds its booth at the festival.
